John Mathew

John Mathew’s leadership of our enrollment outreach and retention programs grows from his more than 15 years of personal experience in technology operations and infrastructure support. His pioneering work in using e-mail to attract customers in the commercial market built the foundation for many techniques in common use today.
As an executive in charge of e-mail operations John generated a 300% increase in sales at one company. He also led a team at another firm that was instrumental in transforming it from a minor player into the largest company of its kind in the world.
In addition to directing highly effective programs based on e-mail outreach, John is an authority on preventing its abuse. He helped the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working group develop the marketer’s guide to best e-mail practices, and was a featured speaker at the Federal Trade Commission’s 2007 Spam Summit on the marketer’s responsibility for deliverability.
