Organization and Employer Studies
Are you seeking stronger partnerships or relationships with businesses and organizations in your community or region? Would you like to better understand the nature of the tuition reimbursement benefits that your adult students may have available?
Employers are potential "students" themselves when they contract with a college or other organization for employee education and training. They are also potentially your strategic partners in educating your region's workforce.
Our employer study surveys a cross-section of businesses, government agencies, and professional associations of your choosing to determine:
- What education and training they may need for their employees,
- Whether cooperative arrangements with your college might be mutually beneficial, and
- What the nature of their tuition reimbursement benefits are
The single focus of our studies is to provide you with the information you need to best leverage existing and new relationships with employers in your region.
How we do it:
Telephone interviews are conducted with officials responsible for employee education. Interviews can either be completed completely randomly (although we recommend that no interviews be done at organizations with fewer than 150 employees) or we can conduct interviews in one or more industries that are of particular strategic importance to your institution.

- Employers' sources of information about colleges
- Their familiarity with your college and other colleges
- Their opinions of your college and other colleges
- The programs, courses and workshops they may want from your college
- The services they want from your college
- Their willingness to share expertise with your college
- Their interest in partnerships with your college
- Details of their employee tuition reimbursement benefit
