George D. Kuh, PhD, Keynote Speaker
Director, Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University
Dr. George Kuh is a Chancellor's Professor of Higher Education at Indiana
University, Bloomington and directs the Center for Postsecondary Research,
home to the National Survey of Student Engagement and related initiatives.
A past president of the Association for the Study of Higher Education, Dr.
Kuh has written extensively about student engagement, assessment, institutional
improvement, college and university cultures, and has consulted with nearly
200 educational institutions and agencies in the U.S. and abroad.
Having received several awards for his research contributions, Dr. Kuh is
also a recipient of the American College Personnel Association's Lifetime
Achievement Award, St. Cloud State University's Educational Leadership Award
for Teaching, and the University of Indiana has recognized Dr. Kuh with several
Teaching Excellence Recognition Awards, the Dean's Award and the prestigious
Tracy Sonneborn Award.

Mr. Isaac served on the faculty of the Executive MBA program at Virginia
Commonwealth University's (VCU) School of Business and served as Managing

A marketing and advertising veteran, Mr. Isaac previously held executive-level
positions with DIMAC Marketing Partners, DMW Worldwide, Cadmus Communications
Corporation, The Martin Agency and Martin Direct.
Mr. Isaac has received several awards and honors in the direct marketing
industry, is a frequent seminar presenter and speaker and has written several
articles for professional publications.

Vice President of Student Affairs and Vice Provost of Academic Support, University
of South Carolina
Dr. Denis Pruitt serves as Vice Provost for Academic Support and Vice President
of Student Affairs at the University of South Carolina. In addition to coordinating
and managing all aspects of academic student-support services, Dr. Pruitt
designed the University's award-winning enrollment management model and developed
what is widely regarded as one of the earliest and most thorough strategic-planning
processes in the field.

Dr. George Walker is Vice President for Research and Dean of the University
Graduate School at Florida International University. A theoretical nuclear
physicist, most of Dr. Walker's scholarly career was spent at Indiana University
where he led the establishment of a Nuclear Theory Center. Dr. Walker is
a member of the National Advisory Board for the Center for the Integration
of Research, Teaching and Learning and is a member of the National Advisory
Board for the National Survey of Student Engagement, among others.
