
Combat Excessive Drinking on Campus
Alcohol Focus is an interactive program designed to educate college students about the physical, emotion and social consequences of excessive drinking. It can serve as part of a freshman experience course or as an elective student health resource.
What Will Students Learn?
Alcohol Focus will teach students to make better decisions about drinking and drug use, and to understand how they affect the body.
Students will also develop methods to:
- Avoid excessive drinking
- Address drug and alcohol addiction
- Prevent and deal with the risks and effects of alcohol abuse (such as sexual assault)
- Deal with friends who drink and who may have an alcohol problem
