Brief Description: The Director, Clients Services, will be responsible for overseeing, sustaining and growing the overall business in addition to direct day to day campaign management of existing clients by providing custom client solutions through sound marketing and business intelligence as well as superior client service and advocacy throughout the organization.

The Director, Clients Services, will be responsible for overseeing, sustaining and growing the overall business in addition to direct day to day campaign management of existing clients by providing custom client solutions through sound marketing and business intelligence as well as superior client service and advocacy throughout the organization.

The Director owns the client relationships up to the executive level, serving as the primary point of contact for EducationDynamics. The Director owns a book of business and is accountable for achieving/beating measurable goals by offering custom solutions through a consultative approach to their Clients. Essential for the role are excellent customer relationship and negotiating skills as well as strong understanding of marketing sources and analytical capabilities. In addition, the role requires responsibility for and management and training of at least one direct report as well as ownership of at least one cross departmental and/or matrix function or initiative.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Demonstrate complete ownership of assigned strategic accounts and be responsible for meeting/exceeding monthly delivery and revenue goals
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with clients on pacing, launch timelines, budgets, deliverables, campaign performance, industry trends and other topics of interest to EducationDynamics and its accounts
  • Owns optimization plans/meetings – is responsible for drafting agenda, proposals and pricing scenarios for executive and marketing team approval
  • Is cognizant of the importance of balancing client needs with internal revenue goals and how to achieve them
  • Weighs in on weekly forecasting process for managed and teams’ accounts
  • Performs complete monthly campaign lifecycle seamlessly – encompassing setting allocation, providing projections, reconciling billables
  • Balancing and growing book of business – keen sense on when to shift budgets and adjust the media strategy to ensure monthly numbers are met
  • Consistently reviews active campaigns for price adjustment opportunities relying on data with a deep understanding on how campaign changes affect the company as a whole both proactively and reactively
  • Communicates all pertinent client related info throughout organization
  • Manage/grow client roster book of business through upselling and cross selling
  • Owns a matrix initiative for their team (to be defined based on organizational needs/skill set)
  • Is capable of being a Team Leader who is directly responsible for managing and mentoring at least one direct report
  • Is proactively initiating workflow efficiencies by working with intracompany teams
Experience:
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent analytical skills- the ability to identify trends and outliers in data
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are key to this role
