EducationDynamics, LLC (EDDY)  is looking for an experienced Human Resources Professional to join us as Vice President of Human Resources. Your primary focus is to develop and implement effective HR policies and strategies in line with our company’s mission. You will oversee the functions of our HR department and work in partnership with senior levels of management to deliver HR services to all EDDY team members.

For this important role, we’re looking for a natural leader with a people-centric, strategic mindset, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This position reports directly to the General Counsel.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support the company’s mission
  • Create and deliver strategic HR initiatives (e.g., training; benefits; recruitment; performance management; compensation; diversity, equity and inclusion; and employee retention and engagement)
  • Manage a team of HR and payroll professionals, providing direction and support to their growth and development
  • Manage vendor relationships with HR-related service providers (e.g., benefits/payroll/HRIS)
  • Regularly review and when necessary re-engineer HR and payroll processes to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure that the company’s policies, procedures and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Assume responsibility for employee relations (e.g., manager/employee counseling/coaching, issue resolution, and internal investigations)
  • Prepare reports for the executive leadership using business metrics and KPIs
  • Oversee HR-related due diligence in any mergers or acquisitions (e.g., examination of policies, procedures and practices; assessment of risks and potential added costs or savings opportunities; and planning and coordination of integration of acquired employees)
