EducationDynamics is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience needed for projects utilizing Microsoft’s leading-edge technologies. Our company has a state-of-the-art software platform to be leveraged by our sales, marketing and operations teams to provide the best experience for our partners, clients and consumers. Our IT team is a diverse and talented group who enjoys working together to solve complex problems and appreciates innovation and creativity in our approach. You will be part of an enterprise development effort, participating in the architecture, design, implementation and support of our platform, reporting to the Director of Software Development.


  • Design and develop web sites, administrative applications, services and APIs.
  • Maintain and support of existing web applications and consumer-facing web properties.
  • Participate in architecture discussions for new features and for improvements to the existing system structure.
  • Produce code that meets specifications.
  • Knowledge of database development including creating queries, indexes, views, stored procedures and triggers.
  • Estimate development efforts for new initiatives.
  • Give and receive constant code reviews with development peers.
  • Report project status to supervisors and project management including regular review of goals.
  • Quickly learn new technologies and systems.
  • Meet with project managers on specifics of projects tasks, responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical business users.
  • Work closely with business owners to develop requirements and user stories.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (or another related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of full stack software development experience.
  • 3+ years developing, using configuring and maintaining WordPress CMS solutions is a plus.
  • Python experience a plus.
