As our Social Media Strategist, you’ll be the mastermind behind crafting killer content and executing winning social media strategies for our partner schools. You will collaborate seamlessly with our Marketing team to increase traffic, engagement and brand awareness for client partners. Candidates must show a detail-driven digital marketing background.

What You Offer

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop, execute and manage social media marketing strategies to drive traffic and engagement for both Organic and Awareness campaigns
  • Plan, create, publish and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Ideate and execute social media marketing campaigns highlighting the community, faculty, student life and other components of university partners
  • Design and create graphics, short videos and other social media creative assets
  • Work closely with Account Management and Marketing leadership to conceptualize, execute and report on campaign strategy and effectiveness
  • Perform frequent, in-depth data analysis to spot trends/shifts in the landscape and opportunities to improve performance and ROI
  • Identify and present new opportunities and areas of growth to clients and prospects that will improve their digital marketing ROI including but not limited to one-off projects such as audits.
  • Participate in client calls to discuss campaign performance, interpretation of data and actionable plans based on findings
  • Collaborate cross-channel with other teams to provide clients with a holistic view of their overall marketing performance and better understanding of how each channel interacts with each other

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field OR relevant work experience

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of client-facing experience with managing social media profiles and growing followers/audience
  • Experience with 3rd party social media management and monitoring tools, such as Brandwatch, Falcon, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Graphic design and content creation

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency using GA4 to identify and report on performance trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for trend analysis
  • Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
  • An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro and Canva for photo and video content
