Who You Are

Step into the role of HR Generalist, Benefits, Compensation & Payroll and serve as the technical engine driving EducationDynamics’ compensation structures, HR tech ecosystem, and compliance architecture. Operating within a high-growth, remote-first environment, this position bridges strategic program design with precise execution across salary structures, variable pay initiatives, health and welfare benefits, and payroll oversight. Partnering directly with the Senior HR Manager and supervising the Payroll Administrator, the role provides the data-driven clarity needed to support nationwide talent retention and power long-term business expansion.

It is an analytical leadership position where data modeling, vendor negotiation, and regulatory fluency directly shape enterprise performance. By harnessing tools like Paylocity and executing rigorous workforce analytics, the function elevates payroll integrity, modernizes wellness programs, and establishes a scalable HR infrastructure built for M&A due diligence and potential global growth.

Here are the abilities that we seek out:

  • Oversee compliance reporting including the EEO1, 5500 filings, Non-Discrimination Testing, and required Federal and State employment reporting
  • Oversee payroll administration and HRIS (Paylocity), ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, payroll compliance, tax account management, audits, reconciliations, and resolution of payroll-related issues while supervising the Payroll Administrator.
  • Develop and administer compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, bonus and incentive programs, commission structures, and related compensation documentation to support talent attraction, retention, and business objectives.
  • Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of benefit and wellness programs, including vendor management, employee communications, billing oversight, and program effectiveness.
  • Maintain the Human Resources KPI dashboards, driving business decisions
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law
  • Identify best practices, services, and tools in the industry to continually evolve our HR process and produce efficiencies
  • Play a role in the due diligence process and comprehensive review of all compensation and benefit plans for new ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage enrollment and termination in COBRA program in partnership with HRIS vendor
  • Review and approve 401k loan requests as well as maintain loan payment processing through the Payroll Administrator
  • Manage and distribute electronic HR correspondence, documents, and incoming mail to ensure timely routing and response.
  • Provide support across all areas of Human Resources as needed, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, workforce initiatives, and special projects.
