The Senior Student Support Coach is a strategic advocate and the primary architect of the student journey from matriculation through graduation. Operating as the vital “Connector” between ambitious learners and complex institutional frameworks, this role transforms traditional academic support into a high-stakes engagement engine. This is not a passive administrative role; it is a tech-forward, performance-driven partnership. The mission requires the energy of a recruiter combined with the empathy of a mentor to manage a robust caseload and identify data-driven trends that impact the student lifecycle. Success in this role means navigating the frontier of new accounts with a “big picture” mindset, scaling capabilities through high-volume outreach, and collaborating directly with partner institutions to refine the strategies that keep students motivated and enrolled.

- Manage a dynamic portfolio of matriculated students, executing comprehensive support strategies that exceed benchmarks for persistence and retention.
- Drive high-volume engagement, including handling 100+ daily touchpoints to ensure every student feels supported and connected to their institution.
- Lead critical student lifecycle milestones, from “welcome” and registration confirmation calls to detailed degree planning and complex re-engagement campaigns.
- Identify and mitigate “at-risk” behaviors by proactively connecting students with the specific resources or institutional counterparts needed to overcome barriers to success.
- Partner directly with internal stakeholders and institutional leadership to provide caseload updates, program training, and strategic feedback on the student experience.
- Analyze student data and behavioral patterns to recommend actionable improvements to messaging, registration processes, and retention strategies.
- Facilitate seamless transitions between enrollment coaches and the institution, ensuring a unified “one-team” approach to student service.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex student scenarios, providing clear documentation and context to resolve high-level issues efficiently.
- Maintain exhaustive product knowledge regarding course selections, financial documents, and institutional policies to provide “white-glove” guidance to students.
- Execute administrative tasks with extreme attention to detail, including CRM updates, paperwork management, and balance collection.
- Ensure 100% compliance with institutional and federal regulations when communicating program details and documenting student interactions.
- Research and contribute to the collective knowledge base of institutional policies to keep colleagues and managers informed of shifting academic landscapes.uperior customer service and work quality while demonstrating attention to detail, flexibility, and innovation in resolving problems quickly.

What You Offer
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in the higher education field, possessing a deep understanding of online learning, graduate degree structures, and the education services industry.
- At least 2 years in a dedicated student support or retention-focused role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding persistence targets.
Experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex program details in a conversational and accessible manner.
- Advanced experience navigating CRM systems and data-entry platforms with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, reprioritizing tasks on the fly to meet the most pressing business needs
